My keyboard is an US qwerty. rdesktop -k fr W2003 and keymap fr is configured with "enable_compose" I can't write some accents like ê ö î, and so more... only é,è,à and ç. All I can see is: WARNING: No translation for (keysym 0xea, ecircumflex) Is there any way to use an US keyboard with an french server? Thanks. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Samuel (samhed) Date: 2011-08-12 15:44 Message: The issue is resolved. Thanks a lot. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2006-08-30 16:28 Message: Logged In: NO try setting keyboard layout in regional options (control panel), at the 'languages -> details' tab, set language to french, and keyboard layout to us international ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2006-08-30 12:08 Message: Logged In: NO Thanks for the reply. I did -k us_intl, and I've got all the accents working but only in Word and only with langage=EN. 1/ With Word: if I check langage=FR, I lose my accents, my keyboard become AZERTY, so I have to leave langage=EN, then I can't verify the grammar with the french dictionnary. (Stupid Windows Word) 2/ It never works with a login screen, cmd, Excel, neither PowerPoint, with FR or EN. and I've got 400 french people with US-keyboard... :-( ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Vladdy Impaler (vladdy) Date: 2006-08-29 15:11 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=957056 You could try -k us_intl with the us_intl keymap here: ftp://vladserver.ath.cx/us_intl put it with the rest of the keymaps ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=381348&aid=1546645&group_id=24366 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Get a FREE DOWNLOAD! and learn more about uberSVN rich system, user administration capabilities and model configuration.
