Thanks for checking this out. Do you know if the server is in the Device 
or User licensing mode?

The RDP licensing is quite complex. Bugs are likely, probably both on the 
server side as well as in rdesktop. I guess one needs to dig down in 
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc241887%28v=PROT.10%29.aspx and 
see how things are supposed to work.
