Summary: printer redirection to W2008R2

Initial Comment:
I met with a problem while trying to redirect a printer to server with Windows 2008R2. I use rdesktop version 1.7.0.

If I run rdesktop with such command:
rdesktop -r printer:<printername> <servername> ,
it has no effect. No redirected printer in "Devices and Printers" window.

But if I run the following command:
rdesktop -r printer:<printername>="MS Publisher Imagesetter" <servername> ,
all goes fine and I can see redirected printer in "Devices and Printers" window.

I think something is wrong in rdesktop, because freerdp works fine. Maybe this problem is caused by changing the default Windows printer driver from "HP LaserJet 8500 PS" (in older versions of Windows) to "MS Publisher Imagesetter" (in W2008R2).

All of the data generated in your IT infrastructure is seriously valuable.
Why? It contains a definitive record of application performance, security
threats, fraudulent activity, and more. Splunk takes this data and makes
sense of it. IT sense. And common sense.
