Cache implies you can delete them without any consequence (except for
at most a performance hit). If I understand things correctly, that's
not the case here as you would have to revoke that license at the
server to get it back.

/var/lib/rdesktop would be the proper location for persistent data.

(I'm not sure how it can be managed securely with multiple users though)
