Keymapping problem be-latin1

Hi there,


I'm struggling with an annoying problem with gentoo/rdesktop.
I'm using a Belgian azerty keyboard layout (be-latin1) on both my Gentoo
laptop and winXP desktop.

If I define nl-be mapping with the -k switch, I get a fucked up qwerty
keyboard for the login screen and in the rdesktop session.
Can't type any numbers from my laptop keyboard with shift+<key>, if I
enable numlock, the keypad from my laptop works.

If I define nothing with -k (or en-us), I get a almost working be-latin1
keyb in the windows login prompt, and a really fucked up layout in the
session once logged in.  If I press 'M' I get '?', if I press '>', I get
'/'.  For those who don't know belgian keyb layout: the / is on the
place where > is on a querty keyboard.

If I define something unknown/wrong with the -k switch, I get qwerty in
the loginscreen and a almost fully correct be/azerty layout once logged
in. Only AltGr (for @, €, ...) doesn't work but I can use ctrl+alt+<key>.



This seems very weird to me, and I don't understand what's happening in
the background, how rdesktop works for keymapping...
Can anyone please explain this to me or point me in the right direction
for a solution ?
