It's most likely a Microsoft thing, then, I'd say.  Although chances of them
actually fixing it are slim to none I'd imagine, unless you've got a decent
sized agreement with MS.

Discovered something new.

When I drop the resolution from 1920x1200 to 1280x1200 the thin client
connects at the correct color depth, 16-bits.  Anything higher that the
1280x1200 and its back to 8-bit. Again, this worked fine before the Windows
2003 SP2 update.
