Licensing for Per Device doesn't work in 2003, and never has. Swap the TS
to per user, and it's fine.

Subject: [rdesktop-users] Rdesktop 1.5 and Windows Server 2003 Licenses per
DEVICE trouble

Hello we are using nearly 150 Thin Clients with rdesktop 1.5 in our Terminal
Server farm. We use Per Device CAL´s.
Our users have the Problem that sometime ( sooner or later ) every user gets
an Application popup at Logon Time from the server, that the license will
expire in 7 (6 , 5 ,4 ,3 ,2, ,1 ) days and they should contact the admin. If
i check the License Server i see some infos about the clients.

Lsreport output:
Server	License ID	Keypack ID	Client	User	Start	End
Issue Type	License Type	HardwareID

I found thins here from Brian Madden which says that rdesktop can´t handle
licenseing right.
http://www.brianmadden.com/content/content.asp?ID=670

Any way to come around this. Or do i have to change from per Device to per
USER cal ?

Any help or Info would be great. How does Neoware/Igel/Wyse or other Thin
Client vendors which use Linux and rdesktop do the trick ? Where is the GPL
Code they changed ?

Thanks a lot
Roman
