Hi,

I am using a java program to make keyboard and mouse event on a windows server.
As soon as I minimize the rdesktop window, close it or disconnect the
event are not performed anymore. (Same result with the microsoft
client). If the rdesktop window is out of focus it works.

I would like to know if it is possible to make ms windows continue to
handle keyboard and mouse events without having a rdesktop window
open. I am using a linux server (without X) that communicate via tcp
to give orders to the java program and a virtual windows 2003 server
to run my java program.

Solution I can think of in order of preferences.

-A program similar to rdesktop running without X to keep my windows
session "really" open.

-A modified version of rdesktop that keeps the connection alive after clossing.

-A modified version of rdesktop whithout displays.

-A modified version of rdesktop where i can at least minimize the window.

Thank you for your help

Nils
