I have been using rdesktop to connect users from around the country to a
farm of terminal server for some time now and it is working very well.
I am currently using version: rdesktop 1.5.0.

However timezones are becoming a problem, for calendaring in particular.

Servers are located in Melbourne.

Clients with TZ='Australia/Melbourne' set connect and the server shows
'(GMT+10:00) Brisbane', should be '(GMT+10:00) Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney'.
Clients with TZ='Australia/Sydney' set connect and the server shows
'(GMT+10:00) Brisbane', should be '(GMT+10:00) Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney'.
Clients with TZ='Australia/Brisbane' set connect and the server shows
'(GMT+10:00) Brisbane', which is correct.

Clients with TZ='Australia/Perth' set connect and the server shows
'(GMT+08:00) Beijing, Chongqing, Hong Kong, Urumqi', should be
'(GMT+08:00) Perth'.

The problems start occurring when each location switches to daylight
savings time.

I have trialled the WinConnect from http://www.thinsoftinc.com/ and the
TZ redirection works correctly.

Does anyone have any suggestions how this can be fixed?

Ben
