Re: Non-standard RDP port

We use them.  But we PXE boot (Settings -> Boot on the HP interface, change
to Network).  We have Thinstation (thinstation.sf.net) deployed as the PXE
image.  This supports rdesktop, but also gives us a centrally managed OS for
the thin clients.  Another option is 2X ThinClientServer (www.2x.com
<http://www.2x.com/> ), which is a superb (commercially owned) thin client
OS.

 

They're great devices.  Insight have an offer at the minute where they come
with a 19" TFT monitor, priced under about $300 (for the bundle).

Hi, thanks for the prompt answer.  Great to hear that rdesktop supports the
port option.  

Have you (or anyone on the list) tried using this with a thin client device
such as the HP T5135?  We've not used this device before, but the Windows
CE-based devices that we have used don't support this (they will only
connect to port 3389).

the manner?  Specifically has anyone tried using rdesktop on a device such
as the T5135 to specify the RDP port number in this way?
