Re: timeout loginscreen

Hi Gerard,

Thanks for clearing up the issue that XP is the one "to blame" in this
matter. I hope someone knows if it is possible to increase that time-out in
XP, and more importantly, where such an option is hidden within windows.

As Guy mentioned an auto logon is possible but not in my case not preferable
since the nature of passwords is that it should be stored in my memory in
stead of in a readable bash script.

Diederik,

 

Guy Kroizman gave you a solution for auto login.

The time out you are refering to, is not defined in rdesktop but in the rdp
settings of the windows server.

you can make rdesktop autologin with:
-u username -p password
