Problems with rdesktop and the smartcard

Dear sir or madam, I am having problems with the rdesktop and the smart card reader. We have applications to read and write information on a smartcard. The problem happens when using rdesktop to access the smartcard, the rdesktop provokes an error message and the programm crashes. And the conexon finishes. The error message is as follows: Segment failed. I have compiled the rdesktop with the support for the smartcard. The command that I use to connect is: rdesktop -a 16 -r scard xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx The application works fine using Windows terminal client.
