Dear list, This is jyo. I am new to this list but would like to seek for your opinions on this issue. [Environment] <Clients> Ubuntu 8.04.1 with rdesktop-1.5.0-3+cvs20071006ubuntu0.1 Gentoo with rdesktop-1.6.0 <Remote Windws> Windows XP SP3 japanese version Windows Server 2003 R2 japanese version On the above environment, we have met a phenonmenon that when the "KANA lock" on IME tool bar is turned on, pressing "Shift + 0" does not generate "kana_WO" keycode but "kana_HE". This is the command line we have issued to launch the rdesktop. <command line> $rdesktop -k ja -u 'testuser' xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (ip address is masked) If we change the "-k ja" option to "-k none", the "kana_WO" keycode is correctly generated when connecting to the above remote Windows hosts. We have tried on modifying the ja keymap but cound not get out of this issue. Is there anyone having the same issue and has a fix on this? Any comments would be greatly appreciated. -- Sincerely, Jyo ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.net email is sponsored by: SourcForge Community SourceForge wants to tell your story. http://p.sf.net/sfu/sf-spreadtheword
