On a side note, does anyone know why rdesktop doesn't support multiple displays by default? 

It would be nice to be able to configure the displays using the desktop preferences dialog as you would when directly connected to the desktop. For example, choosing different resolutions for the displays, moving them left/right/above/below, using the screen identifier, etc.
