Problem with Ubuntu / rdesktop 1.6.0 and 2003 virtual server

I am trying to use rdesktop 1.6.0 on Ubuntu 9.04 to connect to a 2003r2 server running on a Xen server platform. All connects great, except that caps-lock does not work. I've tried -N, -k, -K and -y all to no avail. If I use -y, caps lock works, but the arrow-keypad does not anyone got any clues ? Thanks in advance.
