Hi, i tried to run "rdesktop -s notepad" (replacing the windows shell) to my windows XP (SP3), but I get always the normal desktop and not the notepad. I think, it's a problem of the current version (SP3..) of my WinXP. I tried the "rdesktop -s" to a w2k3-server, and it works fine .. Also playing around with the PreXPSP2ShellProtocolBehavior key inside the registry (e.g. http://www.insidetheregistry.com/regdatabase/viewvalue.asp?valueid=2253 http://www.winfaq.de/faq_html/Content/tip1500/onlinefaq.php?h=tip1910.ht m) ) do not help me to fix this problem - I cannot start a different shell .. No - I stucked .. could somebody confirm this problem ? Or even better - can tell me a solution ? best regards Danny P.S.: Using current rdesktop 1.6.0. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Register Now for Creativity and Technology (CaT), June 3rd, NYC.
