Shell Flag (-a) Not Working for Me

I am running on rdesktop on a Fedora 11 using the binary installed
with yum. I am connecting to a Windows XP (SP3) machine on a LAN.

This works fine:

rdesktop -a 16 <hostname>

This does not work:

rdesktop -a 16 -s "notepad" <hostname>

It does the same thing as the above command and I do not see notepad,
nor an error message.

I have tried putting in the full path to notepad, but there was no difference.

What I really want to do is this (example from seamlessrdp web site):

rdesktop -A -s "c:\seamlessrdp\seamlessrdpshell.exe notepad" <hostname>

I do get a full screen (different behavior, the previous commands give
me windows), but still no notepad. I assume the seamlessrdp is not
working, because the shell flag is not working.

I see from the comments section of this link (see last comment):

http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=390513

that others have had this problem but no solution was offered.

Am I doing something wrong, or am I expecting the wrong behavior? Is
there any way to turn on logging or something so I can determine why
it is not working?

Thank you,
Chris
