No. Like I said, I am connecting a linux box with itself. No windows
box involved. I am testing the capabilities and features of rdesktop
and xrdp.

The man page says nothing about the flag being for windows only. Other
flags work when connecting to both linux and windows boxes.

I am thinking that the linux rdp server software (xrdp) does not
support the shell feature. I can not imagine that the rdesktop client
would not support linux on purpose. Am I correct?
