We have approx 700 users -- many across 10 remote sites -- using
rdesktop to connect to a Windows Server 2003 farm.  5 years since
deployment.  Works great.  The end user PCs boot Thinstation
(thinstation.sourceforge.net) via PXE boot, so they don't have hard
drives or any fancy hardware.  The cost compared to a Citrix deployment
is fractional, and it requires almost 0 administration.

Just a quick question.

Is there anyone that's using rdesktop in a production environment ?

I'm sure there are many it managers that use a linux machine to
administer windows servers thanks to rdesktop, but i'd love to know if
it's even used to provide a windows environment to operators.
