Re: rdesktop always can't copy and paste

i just made a mistake to direct reply to Chris Roberts, i'm sorry, and

thanks, i wll try this. and i just use ctrl-c and ctrl-v, i use vim, i
don't like menu ;)

that's not a emergency problem, if last problem was solved, i just
kill rdesktop and reconnect is ok.
cliient os is debian unstable
host os is windows xp professional sp3
rdesktop version is 1.6.0-3, debian version, maybe i will try complile
from the source.
it is the xserver-xorg package wihch have the file /usr/bin/X, and the
version is 7.4+4
it looks like if the copy and paste didn't work, then the cpu usage
will be high than normal.

We're on debian stable, with rdesktop 1.6.0-2, which is working fine.  Suspect
that the issue will be more with your graphics driver than rdesktop.  You are
running debian unstable, so there could easily be a problem with the xorg
driver for your graphics card.

If you're running nvidia you could try the proprietary drivers, or if you're
already running teh proprietary drivers, you could try running the open
source drivers.

Presumably you have tried googling "rdesktop cpu 100", sounds like at least
one person has a similar problem with an ati card.

I am not an expert, I subscribe to the rdesktop mailing list just like you do.
This is how community support works.  Your reply would have been better sent

i am using s3g video card, and i didn't found any useful infomation
about "rdesktop cpu 100 s3g" on google, that's why i asked for help
here. maybe i will try search "rdesktop cpu 100".
