disappearing mouse pointer

Hi All,

rdesktop-1.6.0-3
CentOS 5.4
Xfce 4.4.2

This is very annoying: on three separate systems, if I leave my
mouse pointer in rDesktop (Terminal Service or Virtual Box RDP,
it does not matter), after a period of about one minute of
inactivity, my mouse disappears.  The pointer completely vanishes.
(Keyboard still works.)  Screen savers on all my remotes are off.

The only way I have found to get my pointer back is to
wait for my screen saver to activate, and then I get my
mouse back.  I have my screen saver set for two minutes, but
since I can not keep my hand off my mouse, I have to wait a
considerable time before I can use these three computers again.
It is a total pain in the neck!

Would the developers please consider adding this to their
list of bugs to fix?

And, does anyone know of a work around in the mean time?
