Have you looked at the permissions on directories and files created on the Windows server drives - I think you'll find that *all* files are created with those same permissions - not just the rdesktop shares. I think you should probably google for a solution to setting default file permissions on Windows client shares. I doubt this is an rdesktop specific problem.
