In that case, have you changed anything: hardware, > software, network...? > > Rgds, --- > Peter Åstrand ThinLinc Chief Developer Hello Peter, I examined the problem more in detail and found the probable reason. We have the application on a 2003 Server and on an 2008R2. The thinstation logs on to the 2003. Two months ago the application had a problem on the 2003 and our sysadmin ( he is away four months so I could not ask him ) simply created a RDP file on the users desktop that open the application on the 2008R2. The users now connected to the 2003 and from there to the 2008 where the app run ( sounds more complicate then it is ). This dual step is probably the reason for the missing characters. He did not change to login server to the 2008R2 machine, because we are not able to connect direct to a R2 from out thinstation clients. They try to connect and then got back tu the connect/shutdown screen. ( I already posted this problem, but got no answer ) Thanks Andreas ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ All of the data generated in your IT infrastructure is seriously valuable. Why? It contains a definitive record of application performance, security threats, fraudulent activity, and more. Splunk takes this data and makes sense of it. IT sense. And common sense. http://p.sf.net/sfu/splunk-d2d-c2 _______________________________________________ rdesktop-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/rdesktop-users
