Hi,

We have started implementing rdesktop for our linux users to gain access to our 2008 R2 Servers. These are the issues we have come up with :
Using RDP 5 :

* Font smoothing only available on broadband and lan mode

* Window redraw extremely slow in broadband and lan Mode

* No ability to only enable certain features like the mstsc client can. We would like Modem mode with font smoothing.

* rdesktop client hangs when certain pages with flash are loaded. Redraw stops on everything around the flash webpage/frame. Cannot close client, have to kill it. Loss of mouse pointer. Flash redraw continues but everything else stops responding. Prime example - http://www.google.co.uk/finance?q=INDEXFTSE:UKX
Using RDP 4 :

* This fixes window redraw slowness

*         Lose font smoothing completely

* Fixes client for flash enabled web pages that a loaded

Any help to fix the issues with RDP 5 would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Regards,

Jason
