I stop at the win 7 login UI when using complex passwords which include symbols even though i include the [ -p ] option in the command. I can than enter the password interactively at the UI and login. rdesktop -u username -p 123Rt&#!24 -f IP_ADDRESS howerver, If I use this command which does not contain symbols I login to windows perfectly. rdesktop -u username -p 123liggy -f IP_ADDRESS On the host machine, the windows 7 remote setting, i have it configured for "Allow connections from computers running any version of Remote Desktop (less secure). thanx -T --047d7b343f9a0199c404f445c9af Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <div dir=3D"ltr"><div><div><div><div><div><div><div>rdesktop version 1.81.= =A0 <br><br></div>I stop at the=A0 win 7 login UI when using complex passwo= rds which include symbols even though i include the [ -p ] option in the co= mmand.=A0 When i use non complex passwords which do not contain symbols it = works perfectly .=A0 For example, the command below stops at the win 7 UI l= ogin.=A0 I can than enter the password interactively at the UI and login. <= br> <br></div>rdesktop -u username -p 123Rt&#!24 -f IP_ADDRESS<br><br><br><= /div>howerver, If I use this command which does not contain symbols I login= to windows perfectly.<br><br></div>rdesktop -u username -p 123liggy -f IP_= ADDRESS<br> <br><br></div>On the host machine, the windows 7 remote setting, i have it = configured for "Allow connections from computers running any version o= f Remote Desktop (less secure).<br><br></div>thanx<br></div>-T=A0 <br></div= > --047d7b343f9a0199c404f445c9af-- --===============5334963606466575449== Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Learn Graph Databases - Download FREE O'Reilly Book "Graph Databases" is the definitive new guide to graph databases and their applications.
