click kernel and 2.6.24.7

Hello,

I'm trying to get a functionnal version of click in kernel mode, but
face some (big) problems : I tried to adapt kernel 2.6.35.13 to be click
compliant, but I face a lot of kernel panics, so this solution does not
seem to be OK.
As a side idea, I wanted to get 2.6.24.7 kernel to see if I could have
click running it, but the installation of this old kernel in a recent
linux distribution does not seem a good idea either.

So my question is the following : which linux distribution could I get
that would run with 2.6.24.7, otherwise asked like : which version of
distribution do you use to validate click ?

If you have any other idea, that would be great too.
