making openflowclick on a patchless kernel

hello , I am a newbie to openflow and my research project requires the 
implementation of openflow switch in click. i am compiling the openflow 
element with click on ubuntu 12.02 with linux 3.5. i am unable to 
compile it as it is giving a lot of errors like
*#error "missing #include <click/cxxprotect.h>"*

please help me out how to solve it. kindly spend some of your time to 
help me. i will be thankful to you,
