pam_winbind under Solaris 8

I am running solaris 8 on a sparc platform and have downloaded and installed the samba binary  samba-2.2.8-sol8-gcc295.pkg.gz

Samba and winbind work fine, but I want to implement PAM authentication and the pam_winbind.so seems to be missing from the package.  I cannot find the file on my server after installing the package.

Is this file missing from the package for some reason ?  If I want to use pam_winbind, do I need to build the binary myself ?
