2.2.8a binaries for SuSE (8.0/8.1) ?

Hey folks,

any estimates on when the current binaries for SuSE will get available?
I'm especially interested in the given versions in the subject.

oh btw., why does the 2.2.7a-release found in the binaries-folders depend
on libattr and libacl? Before that I thought these were for XFS mostly?
