Just to give everyone a heads up,
I've moved the pdb_mysql, pdb_xml & pdb_nisplussam
builds to a --with-expsam option. This will affect packaging.
The reasoning is that I wanted to avoid confusion as to which
passdb backends are recommended for the majority of admins.
The official stance is
* smbpasswd - flat file for 2.2. compatible installations
* tdbsam - rich database backend for local servers
* ldapsam - rich directory backend for distributed account
installations
* guest - always required as the last backend
I'm reviewing the pdb_guest code to see if we can just add
it last for admins without having to worrying about specifying
it.
cheers, jerry
