I don't have any macs, but I believe the fink project may have some answers, googling for "samba fink" gave this as the first hit: http://fink.sourceforge.net/pdb/package.php/samba I don't know how fink works, so you may have to find some fink mailing lists/ newsgroups, and come back to the [email protected] mailing list once you're installed (unless you have run samba before, or know your way around man pages).
