SuSE has them in /usr/lib/samba/vfs, including the samba-vscan stuff (/usr is probably a better place for binaries than /var). The RPMs I am testing here with samba-vscan have also got their vfs modules in /usr/lib/samba/vfs. Anyway, it does seem that RH is a bit behind here ... Jerry, I don't see any reason to not have them in /usr/lib/samba/vfs/, and it allows further use of /usr/lib/samba without mixing vfs modules and other misc samba libraries (if there are ever going to be samba-specific libraries that are not vfs modules)?
