SGI Packaging

Hello,
 I am trying to figure out to make my own software
package in IRIX.
I noticed that samba has been packaged, and I looked
at the “mkrelease.sh” script which referred to the
spec.pl & idb.pl.
However I can not find those scripts.

I know how to build a package using the GUI “swpkg”.

However I would like to make a script to build this
without the GUI swpkg. 

I believe all you have to do is build a *.spec & *.idb
and then run gendist. Is this correct?

Any help you can provide would be very much
appreciated.
