Generic ARM Binaries available?

Hey.. Sorry if this is the wrong list, but I had to take a wild guess
here.  I've got a project where I need samba on an ARM system, however,
it's a VERY bare-bones system, so it doesn't have the ability for
packaging atm.  Are there ANY arm binaries available of Samba that I can
download?  I'm not sure how I'd pull apart a .deb package so that I
could get to the binaries themselves.  I've tried cross-compiling on my
x86 system with the LART compiler, but it's not even coming close. 
Specifically, I'm looking for smbmount/smbmnt or an equivalent thereof.

Any help is GREATLY appreciated as the ol' glibc maintainers have yet to
release a version that will x-compile correctly without patching *sigh*
