Hi zen,

Actually, just take account that there is two main samba version:  2.x.x and 
3.x.x-alpha.

I really think that the most accurate documentation for the version ones 
have is in  the SAMBA-Collection-Howto.pdf files  that you can find in the 
documentation directory of your samba source distribution tar file.
This is mainly what I use.
