The Samba 3.0 How-To at http://us3.samba.org/samba/docs/man/Samba-HOWTO-Collection.html#id2870309 says: "The Samba application that controls browse list management and name resolution is called nmbd. The configuration parameters involved in nmbd's operation are: Browsing options: os level(*), lm announce, lm interval, preferred master(*), local master(*), domain master(*), browse list, enhanced browsing." But the man pages for "nmbd" and "smb.conf" do not mention "browse list" having any effect on "nmbd". ===== Sincerely, Matt Seitz
