It goes into running Bind9 and the Samba internal dns server on the DC. The provision command is this: sudo samba-tool domain provision \ --use-rfc2307 \ --realm=FEDORA.LAN \ --domain=FEDORA \ --server-role=dc \ --dns-backend=SAMBA_INTERNAL \ --adminpass='Copa@@2026' Then further down the page it tells you to add this line (among others) to the DCs smb.conf file: server services = rpc, nbt, wrepl, ldap, cldap, kdc, drepl, winbindd, ntp_signd, kcc, dnsupdate Can any one else see the inconstancy between the two ? There a few other things that stop me recommending this tutorial.
