I use Point'n'Print by years, and after PrintNightmare i've setup all the required policy (Computer policy, not user policy) to continue to use it, clearly pre-installing driver in computer by other mean. I'm sure that at least 2-3 years ago i can install printer also from local (non domain) users, because printers and drivers are shared with 'guest ok = yes'. Now i've discovered that i cannot install printer anymore on non-domain users, both for normal users or administrators. Some data: - as stated, policy is on computers, not users - as stated, for domain user (privileged or unprivileged) works as expected - printer and driver share are 'guest ok = yes'. - local (non-domain) users (privileged and unprivileged) cannot connect driver anymore - drivers are just preinstalled on the computer, no need to download and install drivers What i'm missing?
