option --quarantined in bidrectional trust

Hello,

we are currently testing the capabilities of the bidirectional Samba
trust to an Active Directory forest. We found the `--quarantined`
option in the help documentation. Does anyone have experience with this
option and know exactly what it does in the code? Unfortunately, the
information I've found in the documentation so far has been very
limited.

Thank you for any tips and experiences.
