Can functional level 2016 be used in production ?

But the current version of Samba is "4.24.2".

So my question is : can Samba functional level 2016 be used in 
production today with more recent versions than 4.19.0 ?

If "yes", since which version has it become stable ?


On a test server, I've tried this :
in "smb.conf" "[global]" section, add :
  "ad dc functional level = 2016"

Then run :
systemctl restart samba-ad-dc
samba-tool domain schemaupgrade --schema=2019
samba-tool domain functionalprep --function-level=2016
samba-tool domain level raise --domain-level=2016 --forest-level=2016
