First of all: I've never attended sambaXP. But my employer insists that
I visit one or two conferences per year. So I might as well attend the
next one. Just so you know that you shouldn't put too much weight in my
2 cents here:

I am in favour of Frankfurt purely based on geographical laziness.
I'd be coming from Switzerland by train, so Frankfurt would simply be
a more convenient destination.
