Hello,

I had a similare problem when accessing a HP X9000 which seems to run a older [3.0.x] Samba servers.

I had to add the following system properties to "downgrade" the security.
-Djcifs.smb.client.useExtendedSecurity=false
-Djcifs.smb.lmCompatibility=0 -Djcifs.smb.client.useBatching=false

Might be worth a try.
