Hi Nikhil, I'm not absolutely positive I know what you're talking about but if you're talking about walking through IPs for a DFS target to find a node that has the desired object and generally be more robust about finding objects in poorly maintained DFS volumes (eg not replicating properly) then no, there are no plans to fix that. I don't think its even on the TODO list. Almost half of the issues on the JCIFS TODO list are directly or indirectly related to DFS so it's something that needs to be really studied and re-factored.
