Hi Daniel,

The jcifs-krb5 package was contributed and it is not an officially
supported sanctioned. The problem is an API issue. There are numerous
references to NtlmPasswordAuthentication objects that would need to be
refactored into a more generic credential management model. Not sure
what that would be.

To be totally honest, Kerberos is not a high priority in JCIFS. There
just are not that many scenarios where it would be useful. It should
be done for purity reasons. But there are bigger fish to fry (like
getting DFS to work really well).

I am not familiar with the github package you cite so I cannot comment on i=
t.
