-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi Folks-- i've repackaged silc-client to provide a debianized package for version 1.0.3. I'm providing the package online [0], in source form, and as a binary built for the i386 architecture. The sha1sums of the relevant files should be: 9c310d3950a006e6385d88f9f8757bdb679c5137 silc-client_1.0.3-1_i386.deb 0714acfd051b09844fd2dcf5a9372ff604f0089b silc-client_1.0.3-1.diff.gz The packaging strategy i used was just to mimic the strategy from 1.0.1, and i detail that a bit closer on the published page, along with my (serious) misgivings about it. I'm interested in seeing silc actually adopted into debian, and am willing to put in a bit of effort on it, but i think there's probably a long way to go. I also don't understand the (non-debian) build process well enough yet, so it may take me a while (and i might need some handholding) to get things into proper shape. Feel free to read my notes and make suggestions. I don't know if Tamas Szerb is still on this list (or responding to the e-mail address in the CC: above), but i'd be interested in talking with him about his plans/preferences for silc (and the related packages) in debian. As always, feedback is welcome.
