hi all, i just want to give you feedback on my first experience with the silc-toolkit. (this is more a test report than anything else) i may have a weird installation of the toolkit (first installed 1.1.3 version and then installed version 1.0) but i fortunately made notes on what my Installation prefix is and what my include directory is. 1. Makefile in the silc-toolkit-1.1.3/tutorial/mybot dir was missing 2. i had to modify followint files Makefile Makefile.defines Makefile.defines.in Makefile.defines_int Makefile.defines_int.in thanks for help on silc channel i can not send you any diff files or a patch (i know the meaning of those words but i don't know how to create those files (yet)). just wanted say hallo, thank you and that it wokred at last this is the current result of make kusinara:/home/potmehood/silc-toolkit-1.1.3/tutorial# make for i in mybot; do cd $i && make && cd ..; done; make[1]: Entering directory `/home/potmehood/silc-toolkit-1.1.3/tutorial/mybot' make[1]: Nothing to be done for `all'. make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/potmehood/silc-toolkit-1.1.3/tutorial/mybot' kusinara:/home/potmehood/silc-toolkit-1.1.3/tutorial# looks fine next step i try to figure out what this means: kusinara:/home/potmehood/silc-toolkit-1.1.3/tutorial/mybot# ./mybot ./mybot: error while loading shared libraries: libsilc-1.1.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory kusinara:/home/potmehood/silc-toolkit-1.1.3/tutorial/mybot# best regards martin -- my second home planet http://www.b612.sk/ _______________________________________________________________________ Info: https://lists.silcnet.org/mailman/listinfo/silc-announce Archive: https://lists.silcnet.org/pipermail/silc-announce FAQ: http://silcnet.org/support/faq/
