[WEB REQ] gaim-1.14 and silc_client_init - gaim1.1.4, silc protocol support

Hi,

I\'m having an issue getting the silc(0.9.12) support to showup in the Gaim protocol menu.  The only noticeable silc-related message I see when compiling gaim from source is that the silc_client_init function is not detected from the latest silc toolkit libraries and headers.  I\'ve run into this issue after installing the silc-toolkit from source, fink and darwin ports.  I\'m guessing this is an issue w/the gaim src, but I wanted to know if anyone on this list has run into the same problem. 

The output from gaim configure follows (the paths have varied depending on the silc-toolkit installation I\'ve tried).

Am I correct in thinking that this causes silc not to show up in the protocol list of Gaim?
