SILC Autodist 1.2

The new version of the SILC Autodist is now available!  The source package
of the software is available from the following sources:

         http://silcnet.org/
         ftp://ftp.silcnet.org/

Another upgrade to Autodist, increasing the minor version again due to 
various incompatibilities, the 1.2 is the new one.

Summary of Changes
------------------

         * Various 'cat' optimizations.

         * More test cases in tests/.

         * No Autodist header for "other" '.ad' files as we don't know
           what the file contains.

         * No non-source distdef format processing for source files
           anymore.

         * Remove extra ' ' and '\t' when joining backslashed lines.

         * Fixed argument delivery to hook scripts.

         * Process '*.ad' files before calling autoconf and automake.

         * Various shell compatibility kludges added.


Installation
------------

The source package is compiled and installed as instructed in the INSTALL
file found from the package.  Quick installation:

   ./configure
   make
   make install
