[WEB REQ] SILC buddy list won\'t refresh to show a person is offline or online - SILC Server 0.9.18

Sorry, little lack of details there.

I'm using the gaim 1.3.0 client and the latest silk server. It's a local
server setup, not connected to SILCnet.

I have noticed though, that when I connect to a SILCnet server with gaim and
add a buddy, the buddy's status there is properly updated when I log off and
then log back on. On my local server, the status is updated only when I
first add the buddy. After logging off and logging back on all users are
shown as "offline" (even when I add myself as a buddy). This leads me to
believe that it's a configuration problem with my local server setup and not
a gaim issue, but I could be mistaken.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
