SILC Gaim Buddy List Refresh

    Can someone explain to me how SILC Server/Gaim handle online status and
refreshing the buddy list.  For example, we're running an internal SILC
server, and I would like it if the Buddy List would update whenever someone
changes their online status/signs off/etc.  Currently, if I set my status to
"Busy" or "Away" nobody else can see it unless they force Gaim to refresh
the buddy list.  I suspect I have something setup incorrectly on the server,
refresh/connection option possibly?  Anyway, if someone could help me out
it'd be appreciated.
